Seroquel (Quetiapine) - Anyone have success stories? I've read a lot of horrific things online - permanent changes to the brain, people acting weird, memory issues, cataracts
Does anyone have life changing success stories? I'm tired of being miserable

Indeed, from a pharmacological point of view this drug regresses us to the dawn of psychopharmacology in the 1940s (see table below)

Paradoxically, low dose seroquel is much more sedating than the full dose ranges (400+mg) for psychosis
People generally find it easy to tolerate and helpful
I know that horror stories about about this med and that the side effects are nothing to be sniffed at
Terms & Policies What you don't hear much are the many success stories from people where Seroquel is a lifesaver and they are out in the world doing great
I have hardly heard of anyone who has actually taken these medications and was able to come off them and sleep normally ever again

Never thought it would happen and Seroquel has given me so many health problems due to weight gain
I know logically it is, but I'm scared Seroquel has permanently messed up my metabolism or something

I was reading an article about how weightloss is nearly impossible on Seroquel, even with keto
I don't mix it together though
After the mth on 100 mg my blood sugar spiked and I went from 100 mg to 75 to 50 to 0 in about a wk
And if it's a go to bed now kinda sleepy
Thank you all
Low dose Seroquel is a different medication than high dose Seroquel
That's not how things happen
I took Seroquel for over a year (not for sleep issues though) and now that I'm off of it I wake up at 6am sharp, wide awake, every single day, whereas I used to be able to sleep in if I had nothing to do that day
One time I lost 60 pounds while taking Seroquel by burning 1000 calories a day by doing cardio and eating net calories of 1200 so, without the exercise, it would have been about 2200 total
started at 25 mgs, am currently at 400
I suppose I'm looking for success stories with I've been off seroquel since last year
I've heard from other people that it conpletely knocks them out and it's some of the best sleep they've ever had
I have really bad anxiety all day, every day, so i used them as means for escape
