Adult Dosing
Ibuprofen may be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset
Ibuprofen is a white powder with a melting point of 74° to 77°C and is very slightly soluble in water (<1 mg/mL) and readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone

12 years or older: Initial dose: 200 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed
The maximum daily dose is 1,200 mg
