The initial start to Spiro was hard with a lot of light headedness / dizziness and dehydration
I take 50mg daily (I have been taking it for ten months now) Just started my second month of 40 mg of accutane and my third month of 50 mg of spiro! I was on spiro for a few years before and that worked until my acne became extremely cystic and out of control seemingly out of nowhere
Accutane works by “shrinking” or deactivating the oil gland in acne-prone pores thereby preventing the overactivity of the oil glands that is necessary for acne to develop

So I did —and since taking 100mg my period has NOT stopped
Hey! I took spironolactone for around 2 months but the side effects were so horrible that my primary doctor had to switch me to birth control
I went back on spiro and my skin is basically back to being fully clear
