Ca-15 has dropped significantly since starting xeloda (finished 3 cycles of 3 weeks), but CEA rose slightly

Leftfootforward, My wife stopped taking it for three and a half weeks at the end of June 2014, and just started another holiday from the drug two days ago, until her HFS clears up
thanks Giovanni! I figure if my story helps one other person, it was worth it to write! Just like you sharing the info about the cream! Saw Oncologist yesterday and mentioned I'm finally taking his advice and changing my Xeloda schedule to 7/7
After about 3 cycles (14 on 7 off), I was able to get by with a cane and pain was much improved
That's not a great number in my book, but as I'm learning all this stage 4 stuff seems to be, I guess it is something for some, and I've been taking Xeloda since last April and it's done a number on the cancer - liver tumors smaller, skull met disappeared, lung and shoulder blade stable
Hair dyed? Yep ( inoa with bleach) after a few months my hairdresser said my hair is back but weak so no more bleaching for God-knows how long
