I think the idea is t necessarily that is improves the wrinkles you have, more that it slows photoaging
The difference between the two is that moisturizer before will block/slow some of the Since more people discover tretinoin quite young , they use it to prevent aging, appose to correcting wrinkles , so you won't see a lot of before and afters, as there's nothing to correct

Here's my current routine: AM: Half pump of La Roche-Posay purifying foaming cleanser, pat dry with clean towel
Hi all, wanted to share a picture of improvement in my pitted scarring from Jan 2020 to Sep 2020 (now)
05 cream Either Aveeno Oat Calming gel or Neutrogena Hydroboost gel Barrier cream Heres a better before and after than my first one because its the same exact lighting and snapchat camera!!! The big red mark on my cheek in my after is from my incessant skin picking habit, but other than that I'm in awe of my results!!! Remember that tretinoin travels up to 2" below the skin, so you'll still get anti-aging benefits even if you don't apply right next to your eyes
My dermat specifically told me to apply moisturizer before Tret to avoid skin irritation or inflammation of any kind
I find that if I go more than 5 minutes after getting out of the shower to apply anything my skin is already dry, tight, and flaking
Be safe, and protect your eyes: don't apply tretinoin near your eyes or on your eyelids
It's the only prescription retinoid that's been proven over time to increase collagen which tightens skin, improve sun damage and improve the dermis
